Marcus M. Martin is an Actor, Singer, Teacher, and Motivational Speaker who is currently granting wishes across North America as the Genie in the North American Tour of Disney’s Aladdin. Marcus was Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, which is the hometown of LeBron James. Growing up in Akron, Ohio, Marcus was in love with sports, After failing miserably at every sport, Marcus finally found a home on stage at the age of 7. After performing in community theatre productions through out Middle School and High School, Marcus went on to study Musical Theatre at Baldwin Wallace University. Upon graduation, Marcus has been seen on stage at regional theatre’s across the country, on National Tours, and on Television! Marcus’s career has opened up the opportunity to step in the classroom, and uplift the next generation of storytellers through audition masterclasses, Q&A’s and motivational talks. In his downtime, you can catch him in the kitchen perfecting a new dish, watching basketball, performing as a one person gospel choir in the shower.
